Andy Ofiesh - The Naked Comic
For my continuing series on comedians I photographed Andy Ofiesh, aka The Naked Comic. I think this quote sums it up best... "Once a month, [Andy] does onstage what most of us could only imagine in our worst nightmare: naked stand-up-comedy...What's more astonishing is that Ofiesh has persuaded other performers to try nude stand-up, too, and now hosts "the Naked Comedy Showcase." — Nick Zaino, Boston Globe
Yeah, that's right, not only does he do his act in the buff (he's hilarious by the way), he convinces other comedians to bare all for his shows in Boston and NYC. Here is a link to Andy's website.

Blue Man Group
Several months back we shot a series of ads for the Blue Man Group. We shot magazine ads, billboards, posters, buswraps... we covered it all. Here are a couple of the ads and pics of them in their environment, which is a real treat for me because I often do not get to see the final work.

Failing Up
Check out this month's issue of BusinessWeek SmallBiz, I shot the cover story. We traveled the U.S. and Canada photographing entrepreneurs that turned a business failure into a business success... turning lemons into lemonade. That was part of the assignment, work lemons into each shot and have it reflect each individuals story, personality or philosophy. Here are a few of the shots...

Is it New Years Eve already? No, we just elected out next president. I have never experienced that kind of spontaneous reaction to a presidential election! Congratulations President Elect Obama.
Dirty Jobs!
I shot a campaign for Discovery Channel last month for the new season of Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. Mike is the real deal, the guy on TV is the same guy in real life. This may have been his dirtiest job ever, just look at what we did to the man!
Now that the ad is out people have been asking questions about the shoot and as luck would have it Nick shot some video so you can have a little behind the scenes peak...
